The Balometer Jr. is a new compact size instrument for directly measuring CFM (air volume) from diffusers and filter panels. The Balometer Jr. is smaller and one third lighter than any other instrument on the market.

The Balometer Jr. is only 36" high with a 2' x 2' collecting hood and weighs in at only 6.5 lbs. The lighter weight and smaller size make it easier for the HVAC user or the building maintenance person to take measurements at diffusers. These readings are taken to check ventilating performance and system balance. The Balometer Jr. will fit in those hard to get at spots and give an accurate reading. In production areas where filter panels are used it is often difficult to take readings because of tall equipment. The Balometer Jr. will fit nicely and not interrupt the production working process.

A smaller hood is also available for tighter areas or smaller diffusers. The opening is only 16" x 16" and with the base is only 21" tall. The Balometer Jr. will easily fit small service areas such as diffusers in washrooms and above dividers.
