The CADET 2 Series is a completely new generation of digital force gauges designed to be easy to setup, operate and maintain. The CADET 2 gauge features a modular architecture that allows users to add gauge functionality via the Internet using flash memory.
Simple and Efficient to Operate
The CADET 2 Series features an operator interface that is easy to understand. The gauges have a large, easy-to-read LCD display with an adjustable contrast to minimize the effects of ambient lighting conditions or viewing angle. The gauges also feature a well-defined hierarchy of displays that effectively guides the user through setup, operation and maintenance. Intelligent prompts are displayed after each user selection, providing the user with the next options and actions that may be performed. Dedicated function keys, located on the front of the instrument, are mapped to the displayed options. The use of intelligent prompts increase user confidence with the instrument and help prevent illogical commands. Users can perform setup and measurement operations in an efficient, reduced-cost manner. A self-diagnostic capability reduces maintenance requirements. A simple touch of a key automatically and instantly, zeroes the gauge.
Powerful Data Capture Capability
CADET 2 Series force gauges are equipped with sophisticated force measurement capabilities including programmable test parameters and the ability to store up to 100 test readings in memory. CADET 2 Series gauges feature RS-232 serial data communications, so that users can download test readings to their personal computer and use the data with popular office software including MICROSOFT® EXCEL®, ACCESS®, and WORD® for sophisticated and custom reports.
CADET 2 Series gauges also feature an excellent sampling rate of 1000 samples per second, ideal for capturing peak tension and compression readings. An analog output allows users to graph force curves, plus control the cycle of a Chatillon® TCM201 Test Stand. Transmission to MITUTOYO® data collectors is also supported.
CADET 2 Series gauges are battery powered and completely portable. Units of measurement are selectable in pounds, kilograms, and Newtons. A user-selectable auto shut-off function preserves battery life. |
