| The DC Integrating
Totalizer utilizes a voltage-to-frequency (V-to-F) converter to convert
0-1 mA, 4-20 mA or 0-10 V signals (jumper-selectable) to a frequency.
That frequency can then be scaled to engineering units so that it
functions as a process meter. The frequency pulses can also be totalized
to integrate the input signal over time. Square root extraction is
standard. For example, the meter can display flow rate in gallons per
minute or totalized volume in gallons from the 4-20 mA signal of a
flowmeter with a linear or squared output. It can also display kwatt-hours
from a wattmeter with a 0-1 mA output. |
